Avocado in Jar

One day I had an avocado sandwich for lunch, and noticed the interesting variations in color in the flesh and seed when I cut the fruit open. It deserved more observation.  So I placed it inside one of my favorite objects to paint, a glass canning jar, which created textures within textures. This painting is the result.
