Crashing Wave

Before moving to Utah, we lived in Southern Oregon near the coast. We would go for walks on the beach. Â Frequently the weather was cloudy with just hints of the sun trying to push through the clouds. This painting captures some of the drama of the waves crashing on the rocky Oregon coast on such a cloudy day.
