Mary Had a Little Lamb

Once you see it, this painting’s title makes perfect sense.  If you were to pick up the spoon in the foreground and gently tap each glass, it would produce different tones.  Tap the glasses in the correct order and you could play “Mary Had a Little Lamb”, a tune that needs only four notes!  The glasses were each actually “tuned” with the precise amount of water to create the right notes.
