A couple approached me about an idea they had for a painting showing the resurrected Christ, looking out from the tomb.  They provided a small stick-figure sketch with the concept: a hand on the doorway, the round stone rolled to the side, a sunrise, flowers:

They wanted teal tones in the shadows, and symbolisms throughout the painting.  The result was a painting full of hope, morning light with beautiful shadows, and numerous inspirational symbols concealed throughout the painting.  They love the painting, and want to provide prints to their family members, as well as a large print for the husband’s office in the church where he serves.
